Registration Desk
The registration desk is located inside the Classroom Building in front of classroom CB206 and will be staffed during the entire conference. Please do not hesitate to contact our staff in case of any question or problem.
An early registration will also be possible in The Rushmore Hotel on Monday, May 13th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Presentation and Presentation Format
Presentations can be projected in format 4:3 and 16:9. However, for best results a slide format of 4:3 is preferable.
Please upload your presentation to the computer in the lecture hall prior to the start of your session. Since a low number of speakers in connected via Zoom, the use of personal notebooks for presentations is strongly discouraged.
Poster Presentations
Posters should be displayed during the entire conference in Room CB 206(E&W). Dedicated poster sessions will take place during the afternoon coffee breaks. The recommended size for the posters is 34" x 44" in either landscape or portrait orientation.
Poster Session Awards
These awards are given to the three best posters presented at the conference. It rewards a combination of excellent research, innovation, and presentation. A panel of judges will select the best contribution among the submitted and presented posters. The winners will be recognized publicly at the first plenary session on Thursday morning and will receive a certificate and monetary award.

WiFi
Wireless guest users at SD Mines may connect to sdsmtopn. This broadcast network requires no encryption or key. For some computers, users may have to perform a 'repair' on their wireless network card after setup before their machine will connect. Guests may see several other wireless networks being broadcast, but sdsmtopn is the only open network. Additionally, conference participants also have the option to use the secured eduroam network through their home institution access.
