Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) will provide two weeks of lodging and a modest per diem of $34.
There is no registration fee for the CETUP* participants but registration is required.
Hotel block:
A reserved block of 30 rooms has been made at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Lead and runs from Sunday, June 16 through Saturday, July 20. Rooms may be reserved by referring to the "SURF - CETUP* Workshop" block.
You must call the Hampton Inn at 1-605-584-1800 to reserve your room — it will be direct-billed to SURF. Deadline to reserve a room is June 9, 2024.
Each room has two queen beds. Free breakfast is included with the room. Room cancellations must be made five (5) days in advance to avoid a fee.
The hotel does not provide airport transportation. Parking is free at the hotel and workshop venue (Lead/Deadwood Middle School). The venue is located within walking distance of the hotel (7 min walk).
