Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) will provide support for your lodging during your participation in the program. A modest per diem of $34 will also be provided to offset the cost of lunch and dinner.
There is no registration fee for the CETUP* participants but registration is required.
Hotel block:
A reserved block of 30 rooms has been made at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Lead and runs from Sunday, June 18 through Saturday, July 15. Rooms may be reserved by referring to the "SURF - CETUP* Workshop" block.
You must call the Hampton Inn at 1-605-584-1800 to reserve your room — it will be direct-billed to SURF. Deadline to reserve a room is June 8.
Each room has two queen beds. Free breakfast is included with the room. Room cancellations must be made 5 days in advance to avoid a fee.
The hotel does not provide airport transportation. Parking is free at the hotel and workshop venue (Lead/Deadwood Middle School) is located within walking distance of the hotel, 7 min.
