For those traveling to Lead, SD for CETUP* 2025 you may be asking how to be best prepared when entering the US through US Customs and Border Protections (CBP). We would like to suggest the following informatoin that may be helpful.
Items to have with you, preferably on paper -
- Copy of your travel itinerary
- Copy of your hotel reservation
- Copy of your invitaiton letter to the workshop
- Copy of the workshop agenda
- Copy of the conference registration (from the indico page or email confirmation)
- If possible, a letter from your institution veryifying your employment and enorsing the business travel
Please remember to tell the immigration officer you are here on business. You are not a tourist.
