Here are some travel suggestions, tips, and routes for getting to SURF during your stay.

When arriving on day one (Nov 2) you will park at the visitor center's public parking lot and enter through the main entrance.
When arriving on day two and three (Nov 3 and 4), please stop at the main admin and Yates Shaft campus security gate on Summit Street and inform the security officer that you are here for the Higher Education Connections Workshop and state your name. Once they give you the go ahead to proceed, please follow the road into the parking lot and find any available spot. A SURF staff member will be in the parking lot to guide you to the E&O Building. Foreign Nationals will need to bring their passport and VISA (if applicable), and US citizens will need to bring their physical Real ID. Other items of note are as follows:
- Sweater/layers in the event the conference room is cool.
- Long pants, close-toed shoes, socks (for underground tour days)
