The Institute for Underground Science at SURF and the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) are proud of its researcher community and this seminar series aims to strengthen the sense of intellectual community. Our goal is to provide a platform for researchers to discuss their work, share insights, and foster interdisciplinary connections within our science community. This series will be conducted virtually and in-person, allowing for broader participation and engagement.

We will address fundamental questions about neutrino interactions, masses, and mixing angles, with insights from grand unification theories predicting phenomena like proton decay. Discover how laboratory experiments, especially at the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF), advance our understanding and the future of neutrino physics. Additionally, we'll discuss the diverse origins of neutrinos, from the Big Bang to solar, atmospheric, supernova, and high-energy astrophysical sources.
