The purpose of this workshop is to provide science teachers the means to develop their skills and bring real “particle physics” research experience into the high school classroom. The Institute for Underground Science at SURF and the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) are hosting this year's workshop in partnership with Black Hills State University, a designated QuarkNet center, bringing in lead STEM educators from national and global destinations.
