rbinska (Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi)\, Bhaskar Dutta (Texas A&M
University)\, Jaret Heise (SDSTA/SURF)\, LOUIS STRIGARI (Texas A&M)\n\n\n
 June 22 - July 03:  Dark Matter Workshop\nJuly 06 - July 17:  Neutrino W
orkshop\n \nThe Institute for Underground Science at SURF hosts the Cente
r for Theoretical Underground Physics and Related Areas workshop\, locate
d in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. \n \nThe CETUP* Mission
is to promote organized research in physics and astronomy\, geoscience\, a
nd related fields of underground science worldwide via individual and coll
aborative research in a dynamic atmosphere of intense scientific interacti
 ons.\n \n\nCelebrating its 10th year\, CETUP* has produced more than 209
publications and become a hallmark of collaboration in underground scien
ce through an interdisciplinary approach to research. Each summer\, it bri
ngs together scientists from around the world to advance theoretical and e
xperimental research—linking directly to major experiments at the Sanfor
d Underground Research Facility (SURF)\, including DUNE and LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ
).\n\n \n\nWhy Attend CETUP*\nCETUP* is vital to modern physics because i
t unites the world’s leading and emerging scientists in an immersive\, c
ollaborative environment that accelerates groundbreaking discoveries\, str
engthens the global research community\, and directly shapes landmark expe
riments probing the fundamental nature and origins of the universe.\n \n\
nIntellectual community\, interdisciplinary setting – Connect with theor
ists and experimentalists from around the world in an open\, discussion-dr
iven environment.\nInnovative workshop format – Fewer talks and more tim
 e for deep exchange\, mentorship\, and hands-on collaboration.\nAccess to
groundbreaking science – Engage with leading research in neutrino physic
 s\, dark matter\, astronomy\, geoscience\, and related fields.\nExclusive
facility tours – Visit SURF and experience world-class underground exper
iments firsthand.\nGlobal\, inclusive community – Join scientists at all
career stages and from institutions worldwide. \nFinancially accessible\
, family-friendly setting - Benefit from no registration fee\, provided lo
dging and lunches\, and a welcoming atmosphere for families.  \nEducatio
n and outreach – Contribute to workforce development\, student engagemen
t\, and local community outreach.\nInspiring location – Experience the b
eauty of the Black Hills alongside cutting-edge science.\n\n\nFunding Supp
ort for 2026 Workshop. \nThe following details outline the support provid
ed for participants. \nExpenses Covered by the CETUP* Workshop:\n\n\nTher
e is no registration fee to attend\, keeping the workshop as affordable an
d accessible as possible.\n\n\nUp to 8 nights of lodging at The Hampton In
n in Lead\, SD.\n\n\nWeekday lunches (Monday–Friday) catered at the Lead
-Deadwood Middle School.\n\n\nBreakfast provided at The Hampton Inn for gu
ests staying at the hotel.\n\n\nExpenses You Are Responsible For:\n\nAny a
dditional lodging beyond 8 nights. \n\nTransportation to and from the air
port.\n\n\nMeals not covered by the workshop.\n\n\nAny additional travel-r
elated expenses.\n\n\nThank you for your interest in CETUP* and for being
part of this unique experience and intellectual community.\n \n \n\nhttp
